കൃഷ്ണന്‍ krushnan ഗംഗ, എം.ജെ നഗര്‍ gamga, em.je nagar is there any way to improve accuracy ?

It is a letter to letter conversion. That is the reason why it happened. Even I have found inconsistencies. പൈതലിനായ് pythalinaayu because മേഖലയാണ്‌ mekhalayaanu The gets converted to u.

An alternative is indic-trans, uses ML models for the transliteration. I haven't tried it, but I guess it should give better output for some cases.

This looks very interesting. As ml2en is a simple rule-based transliterator, it's very difficult for it to account for all possible edge cases.

ml2en is the winner now

Indic-trans > പുതുമഴയിതാ to putumaryita
ml2en > പുതുമഴയിതാ to Puthumazhayithaa
