In Approximations of the discrete slip-link model and their effect on nonlinear rheology predictions, Marat Andreev mentioned three improvements, finite extensibility, convective constraint release and defomation of dangling ends. Does this programme achieve these feathers?

Of those three things, only constraint dynamics is included. Finite extensibility may be important in elongational flow at large strains, but there are other issues in that regime for all existing theories, including slip link. Dangling end dynamics are almost never important.
