License change?

I'd like to be able to use this library, but my company prohibits use of GPL software, even with the linking exception.

Would you consider a change to a more permissive license, such as MIT, BSD 3-clause, Apache 2.0 or ISC?

@jkriegshauser it has link exception, meanwhile you link it as .so it won't viralize your software.
