zsh

Introduction

Zsh is a shell designed for interactive use, although it is also a powerful scripting language. Many of the useful features of bash, ksh, and tcsh were incorporated into zsh; many original features were added.

We use oh-my-zsh to manage zsh configuration.

Setup

Install Oh My Zsh

Install starship

Starship is the minimal, blazing-fast, and infinitely customizable prompt for any shell!

brew install starship

Install plugins

We use the following plugins:

• zsh-autosuggestions
• zsh-syntax-highlighting
