How can I exclude a subdir?

On the next example I want to exclude /var/www/html/.git directory from /var/www/html checking

watch {
  /var/www/html {
    recurse = true
    * {
      handler = ...
    }
  }
}

It seems that directories selector must be typed as it is, regexp are not allowed.

That's correct. The directory selector is passed to inotify, so there isn't a simple way to allow regexs.

You could use a no-op handler to ignore files in a .git directory.
