Starting evince inside evince-synctex appears to quit immediately, process.returncode is not None after the window appears, so backward search etc do not work.

Only happens with a line number (--forward) is given.

Tested on Ubuntu 18.04, Python 3.6.9, GNOME Document Viewer 3.28.4

Hello,

I'm also facing this issue (Fedora 35, Python 3.10, Evince 41.3).

I have no idea how dbus works, so I'm not sure I can contribute much on this. However, I tried adding already_opened as a condition for the line forward search and it seems to help. When doing this, I am able to launch evince from my editor and to then search in both directions. The downside is that the first run does not search for a line (but the window did not seem to move anyway before, although the line was highlighted).

Here's a branch where I tried the fix above: https://github.com/vandalt/evince-synctex/tree/fix-forward

Thank you!
