Confused with "other" devices

Hi all,

I hope anyone can help me.
I have quite a few devices in the google home ecosystem from nest speakers, yeelights, climate control, etc.

In Home Assistant I see that only 6 devices were auto discovered (5 google speakers, and an nvidia shield).

I was browsing over archived issues here and understood that other devices should be visible. Should I see other devices as well, like lights etc? I tried restarting home assistant, "sync devices" in google assistant and restarting few lights.

Hi, @slovenec88.

With the current implementation of this integration it should only discover google home enhanced devices like google speakers, nvidia shield, lenovo alarm clocks etc that have alarms/timers functionalities. That's the main purpose of this integration.

When it comes to other devices that are connected to your google ecosystem such as yeelights, climate control etc, those are expected to be added to HomeAssistant ecosystem using their respectable integrations and not through Google Home ecosystem :) Hope it answers your question
