log file to different folder

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Log file writes to working directory. Causes issues with the CMD check for the package.

Describe the solution you'd like
Add directory parameter to fun.write.log() helper function. Will need to edit each time invoked to include the new parameter.
