Terragrunt is a lightweight wrapper around terraform that helps facility DRY infra code. It is something I have seen leveraged in many of our internal infra repos but it is not something that is covered in the Terraform section of the bootcamp. I think there are a few parts to this task

  • Crowdsource opinions on Terragrunt. Maybe just post a message like "Terragrunt 👍 or 👎" in #liatrio-engineering
  • If the consensus is 👎. Close this out
  • If the consensus is 👍. Let's ask a follow up question to see what Liatrian's think are the best features of Terragrunt and where they would recommend that
  • Take that information and turn it into a bootcamp section with some exercises
