About MacroRegion

Hi Professor Lin, I am reproducing this paper ，but I have not found any information about MacroRegion . How should I obtain this feature. Looking forward to your reply!

Hi, since there is only fixed macros in ISPD2015 benchmark, we consider the fixed node (you can find in fixed macro extraction) as the Macros and then generate the region map by enumerate all the macro regions. Further, for other designs, you may refer movable macros extraction to obtain the movable macro information. After you get the macro list, you can refer to the macro region formulation describe in the paper to generate the final macro region map.
