[Suggestion] Make The Shell a Snap #80

I'd really love to see at least our cross-platform apps as snap packages. Though, I don't know how one would package the shell as a snap and how it would work with Wayland etc. |

Working on snap packages for hacktoberfest is a great idea. If that sounds like something you're interested in, have a look at lirios/snap-packages. If you need help or have any questions, let me know in our Matrix room. |
Canonical does it currently with Unity 8 and I'm sure they would help you.
I don't know if flatpacks can do this, though.
