👩🏾‍🎨 Picky designer enhancement: could we make the system tray / menu bar icon black and white?

Sorry for being such a designer about this … any chance we could make the livebook system tray icon on macOS black and white instead of colour? I will gladly design it for you.

As a side note, I'm loving Livebook and am loving all the launch week stuff coming out.

@wojtekmach originally the issue was with generating the grayscale icon programmatically, but now that we have full control over the native part we can just put any icon, right? Or was there another reason?

Yes, we can put any icon. Ideally it's template icon that is 1 bit black/white and the OS automatically chooses whether to display it light or dark based on the background. (Thus grayscale icon, #2282, may not work.)

Making our existing icon monochromatic is trivial however subjectively it doesn't look good: #1795 (review).

I was almost sure there was a PR, but I couldn't find :D The Tailscale icon uses gray, but that means they have two explicit variants?

Either way it's a tough call, the colourful icon is prettier, but it's not consistent. Maybe the one-colour icon would look better if we added very tiny cuts between numbat head|tail and the book to make the contours clear.
