Gazer vs looker deployer

Hello all, I am looking for some answers on the difference between gazer vs looker deployer and some guidance on when it is appropriate to use gazer and when we will need to use looker deployer.

I understand that looker deployer also depends on gazer. Is looker deployer just have more functionalities than gazer such as automate boards updates/creation? Is my understanding correct?

I see in gzr readme "This project is on a path towards deprecation in favor of (Looker Deployer)[https://github.com/looker-open-source/looker_deployer]. New users should start with Looker Deployer if possible."

If we are existing users of gzr, should we be planning to move to looker deployer in the near future?
