Direct media files (.mp4, .gif etc) should get whitelisted automatically. Now if I want to open a direct link to a gif image, it gets changed to first-frame png by the extension yet the url stays the same (ending in .gif). This breaks other add-ons and seems unnecessary.
The extension should have a way to exclude direct media links from processing.
