How to move Bills from one client group to another

Situation where there is need to move Bills from one client group to another client group

Background

There are 2 brothers (Mr A and Mr B) jointly running a business and hence they are created as clients in same client group.
Now, after few years, Mr B starts a new business and will have a separate billing from CA Firm's perspective.
In this case, we would move client Mr B from AB Group to B Group and rename the existing group from AB Group to A Group

Old Client List
Mr A -- AB Group
Mr B -- AB Group

New Client List
Mr A -- A Group
Mr B -- B Group

Need

If all the previous bills are joint responsibility of Mr A and Mr B, the firm may prefer keeping the Bills in Group AB Group A. If that's the case, you don't need to move any bills.
In a case where the outstanding bills or all the bills needs to be shifted to Group B, then then there arise the need to update Client Group of all the bills pertaining to Mr B to Group B

There are 2 ways to move the bill from one client group to another; depending upon whether you use Client Location for billing.

No Client Location (Option 1)

This mean you only create bill in Jamku to track bills which are created outside Jamku. You don't actually print bills from Jamku.

1. Go to Money Tab in Client Group
2. Select Bills to be moved
3. Enter new group no and click on Update
4. This will take you to the tracking page showing the selected bills and whether it was successfully moved.

With Client Location (Option 2)

This means you create bill in Jamku and print bills from Jamku.

1. Go to Bill Location Tab in Client Group
2. Click on the "Move Location" button against the bill location you wish to move
3. Enter new group no and click on Update
4. It will move the client location and all the bills referencing the client location

Note (Points to consider)

1. Ensure the Client is moved to the new group before you do any of these steps above. If this is not done, you will get error saying "Task does not belong to the Group"
2. Option 1 and Option 2 are for their specific purpose. You cannot use one or another. Depending on your use case use the option.
3. If you have mix bills i.e. some bills with client location and some bills without then you need to move bills using both option. 1st use option 2 and move the Client Location, then using Option 1 move the bills without the Bill Location.
4. If you try to use option 1 for bills linked with client location, you will get error against those bills; saying "Bill has Client Location"
5. User needs to have billing and admin permission
