How to track Package Sent to Client via Courier #833

This tracking can be achieved using Document Module.

Master Setup

  1. Go to Office Config > Document Category
  2. Create two categories with category type "Outward"
    • CourierSent - When Courier is send, this category will be added
    • CourierReceived - When confirmation about Courier is received, this category will be added

Data Entry

  1. At the time of sending Courier create a new Document Entry by going to Task View > Document Tab. Mark the outward category as CourierSent.
  2. When we receive confirmation of Courier delivery, change the outward category of the Document to CourierReceived.

Reporting

To get list of all Courier pending confirmation

  1. Go to Document List.
  2. Filter Documents with Outward Cate…
