Fails with the following error:

erresc: unknown str zxdg_surface_v6@17: error 3: xdg_surface has never been configured
Connection error

This also happens under gnome-shell-3.24.1

No I'm not using nvidia blob, this is on an intel iGPU (hd3000)

GNOME+Wayland on i915 for me. However this system does have dual graphics with both i915 and nouveau kernel modules loaded. To the best of my knowledge, only i915 is being used.

I got it running in weston 1.6.0 as of b9159b3
