I'm a little confused of what you mean by "map" do you mean on an in-game map, or like one supported by a modification? |
With "map" I mean a world, sorry |
So, what do you think about this suggestion? |
I have to look into it, but it seems feasible. |
Sorry, that means that it will be added? |
I have to look into it first, but possibly. |
This will be in 0.7! |
Great! |
Had this been added? |

Well, I run a survival server, but I would like to add a faction map. I already did this a year ago and it was a desaster because survival users commonly get angry each other and the "survival community" concept get broken.
So because of that, i had and idea. The reason because the users get angry each other is because they know who kill them. If they dont know that, if they only know what faction tried to destroy their houses o kill them, the fact of getting angry with an users will desapear. They would like to destroy that enemy (faction) by a rol-faction game, that is what i'm looking for.
For this, the idea is that faction users couldnt see the name above other faction's members, they could only see the faction name. But he can see the name of his faction members (with a certain colour :P ). If an user doesnt have any faction, it would display "none faction" or something like that.
This is my suggestion, obviously, this should be a customized option in the config.yml, for servers that doesnt want to have this, just turn this option into "false".
Sorry for my bad english :S
