I believe it's possible for you to bring us the ability to change the time of the snap when we upload it to the story. if I upload something to the story on 5:00 and it fails, if I upload it on 7:00 ,it will say that I took it at 5:00 . so somewhere it saves the time I took the snap,no matter when I upload it. It will be an awesome option if you could even try to find out how

Hello - it doesn't save the snap - Snapchat "merges" the layers of the image you take into a single image, thus storing the time as literal pixels on the screen. And then it will upload the image, the date can't be changed afterwards as the image has already been generated.

However we should be able to spoof it beforehand like the weather filters

@PedroC1999 Hate to break it to you but that's not the case anymore, the date/time and username are both part of the packet header and are displayed in text boxes above the image.

The idea is potentially possible however I doubt it as SC probably checks the time of upload server side. It might be worth a look but right now there are bigger fish to fry. Keep the ideas coming though, we may always get around to them! ☺️

I think they are not merged because if I download a picture from another story with snapprefs, the time is not there.so it's not merged, the time data is seperated from the image. thanks for time . it was just a small request that I think would make a big deference
