Within the offical apps / application Spotify, there’s always great music to play.
You are able to Browse amazing playlists for every mood and genre.
This is perfect if you don't know what to listen to, or if you're in the mood for something new.

SpotiMC currently allows you to access your own saved Playlists but not browse Spotify Playlists.

A workaround is to grab the spotify playlists in an offical Spotify App, and then they become available in the Playlist section in Spotimc.

Hi, first of all many thanks for the suggestions.

Every content displayed on Spotimc must come from the official libspotify API. Sadly, there are many of them that can't be displayed by relying solely on libspotify (that's the case of discover and radio, that seem to be backed by the Echo Nest service).

However, the contents you mention could be displayed by querying some official user profiles Spotify has for this purpose:

  • spotify:user:spotify
  • spotify:user:spotify_espa%c3%b1a
