When trying to start the plugin downloaded from github (and installing libspotify) xbmc crashes after a couple of seconds of the giant spinning wheel.

My xbmc is playing audio via passthrough over hdmi. Music and movies work fine, but the interface sounds does not.

That's a strange bug...

The XBMC build you are using, is it a custom one or an official one?

I'm using the below debs from the below repo, on a ubuntu 10.04 LTS desktop install. Is there another build you recommend?
