Issue with "Clear-Site-Data": (short summary here please)
Issue with "Clear-Site-Data": Firefox doesn’t support the "cache" parameter
Dec 11, 2021
MDN URL: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTTP/Headers/Clear-Site-Data
What information was incorrect, unhelpful, or incomplete?
Support information is unfortunately inaccurate for Firefox as support is not "full"
Specific section or headline?
Firefox support is not "full" :-(
What did you expect to see?
Sadly Firefox has removed support for the "cache" option.
I filed a bug indicating that it doesn't work: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1744611
But it was marked as "RESOLVED WONTFIX" because of this issue that forced its removal: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1671182 based on this discussion of issues with supporting it: privacycg/storage-partitioning#11 (comment)
Did you test this? If so, how?
Created a test case, filed a bug, had it rejected as the feature has been intentionally blocked (due to apps sharing a domain/subdomain) :-(
