How do we handle a repo moving namespaces?

An example I found is https://github.com/andyh1203/target-jsonl which redirects to https://github.com/andyhuynh3/target-jsonl. Our variant is named andyh1203 but the repo namespace is actually andyhuynh3 now.

Do we just leave it as the original name? What happens when someone moves from their personal repo to meltanolabs, does it always preserve a redirect?

@pnadolny13 It preserves the redirect afaik if done through the GitHub interface: https://github.com/edgarrmondragon/tap-dbt

@pnadolny13 I think for our part, meaning the metadata on the Hub, I think we could leave it as the original variant name and just update the maintainers file and the repo / pip url. I think in the API and on the Hub site we'd have to set up some redirects were we to change the variant identifier itself. But this is something we'll need to manage in the future I suspect.
