Is there any way to update YAML properties automatically based on the position of cards and lists?

I asked this in the Discord channel, so I apologize for any repeats.

I'm using kanban boards to outline novels, with lists being chapters and cards being scenes, and I'm using two YAML properties (chapter_position and scene_position) and would absolutely love to be able to have Obsidian update those properties automatically when I move a card, either between lists or even in the same list, say from the first spot to the last.

Is this possible yet? Could it be possible? I'm pretty new to Obsidian (< a month), so is there some other plugin I can use in conjunction with this one to accomplish this? (I've already looked at Longform -- it's a little too limiting for me at the moment.)
