Hello,

Our group is quite casual. We usually choose path from 12 to 15km. Some hikes seem great but are too long for us. I start playing with trailrouter to add some shortcuts. Would it be possible to add "official" alternative path to lengthen or shorten current hikes? For example a 20km hikes could have an alternative mode with "only" 15km.

What do you think?

That sounds good and I understand as I also adapt the path depending if I want my hike longer or shorter.

The project started as a (b-)log of the hikes I do and that I thought it would be worth sharing (and remembering for me). The project is therefore a personal one and does not intend for example to be a library of contributed hikes (some websites are doing it better, like Visorando or Helloways). I like to have tested the hikes and provide information about what I did.

Considering this, would it be fine to just mention the shortcuts (or diversion, to make it longer 😀) in the content? I tried to incite people creating their own paths as I do somewhere on the website. I did not find where so I guess this should be better promoted!
What do you think about this?

I think it can be a nice indeed. I knew about Visorando, but this is the first time I hear about Helloways. This is a great website too!
