Why is bash hardcoded even if the ssh user's shell is zsh or some other shell? #4

Bash is hardcoded simply because that's what I use and habit die hard but you are right it would be much nicer to read the $SHELL env variable and make a decision on bash vs zsh based on that. As for the character I am not sure where does your icons come from? Can you share you dot file to see?

As for the fonts, that's basically https://github.com/ohmyzsh/ohmyzsh and https://github.com/romkatv/powerlevel10k
