that is because of https://aka.ms/algosettings#applicationDependency |

Still a lot of things collapsed, but the problem is this: 14.0 supports runtime 3.0 - which is what you should have in your app.json i guess - or maybe you should use 14.2 to build your app. |

Could you include the output of the other steps (especially the one called Determine ArtifactUrl) |

And also the project settings (.AL-Go/settings.json) - you might have an artifact setting in that one (else I don't know how you would end up with an onprem artifact) |

That artifact setting wins over the other things - with that, it doesn't try to determine the artifactUrl based on dependencies. |

I thought it was a text file, but apparently it is a binary file. |

The compiler doesn't use/need the license - but you cannot publish anything to a container on which you don't have a license - that has nothing to do with devops / AL-Go for GitHub |

Efter v22 of BC, the CRONUS license allows you to publish apps - but for old versions - you need the license |

Is there a way to make AL Go work for apps using a version prior to
18.0.0.0
? Some of our customers use OnPrem environments with old versions (some even using BC14), but I noticed all app using anything before BC18 will fail. I'm assuming there's a good reason for this, but is this something that can be addressed, or is it fully impossible?Beta Was this translation helpful? Give feedback.
