The editor does not render very well. Likes variables.

Can you provide your Pylance log ("Python Language Server" in the Output tab) and settings.json?

Was Pylance working for you and then stopped working recently?

The editor does not render very well. Likes variables.

Is the problem here that the variables a and b are not getting colored blue like below?

I guess you are talking about the python intelliSense is not working.
I also came cross this when I'm using pylance 2024.9.2. I swiched back to 2024.9.1 and it works for me again.
I am using 1.93.1 on Windows and running python 3.9.

@kitman0000, can you provide your "Python Language Server" log from the VS Code Output pane?

Sorry, but it's fine with the latest version now. Looks like it works again.
