Describe the bug:

Edge tools server crashes 5 times in 3 minutes then does not restart since last Insider update
Node.js v18.17.1
[Error - 2:47:45 PM] Connection to server is erroring. Shutting down server.

Repro steps:

Launch VS Code Insiders

Expected behavior:

Problem is not replicated in VS Code stable. Works without issue.

Additional context:

Error loading "hint"
Trying to load shared version
Found hint at...
Error: Not implemented: HTMLCanvasElement.prototype.getContext (without installing the canvas npm package)
Tried installing npm canvas. Not a fix.

I believe this has been resolved. Closing the work folder, updating VS Insiders and opening the folder again, which I re-located to a dev drive, seems to have fixed the problem. Don't know what caused it, but seems to be working now.

Well, I spoke to soon. This problem still happens when I right click open in VS Insider from within Windows Explorer Preview.
If I open the folder from within VS Insider it seems to work fine. No problem either way with VS Code.
But at least I found a workaround.
