I've tried to reproduce it in Sublime Text, but it autocompletes it just fine. Let me know if it's still happening and how to reproduce.

Mint is mostly a one person project. Sometimes low priority issues will take a while to be looked at. It’s the nature of open source. Instead, let us celebrate all of the major accomplishments that a single individual has achieved! Happy holidays.
