Requirements

  • moisture and temperature sensor
  • Possibly food waste temp/humidity
  • Connect to local WiFi
  • Dashboard - requirements unclear

Steps POC

  • Temp & Moisture sensors working
  • Configurable for local WiFi
  • Power supply
    • Is local USB power available ?
    • Find, build, test solution
  • Enclosure
    • Determine needs - probably closed with air flow (environment not that challenging) but may depend on "soil" measurement requirement
  • Dashboard
    • Determine Dashboard needs
    • Probably data maintenance on server
    • Probably graph of temp/moisture
    • Probably some kind of alerts
    • Build dashboard
    • Test any configuration process.

Steps Future - possibly

  • Soil moisture sensor working
  • Soil moisture tested in real situation
