Hi there,
this tools seems extremely interesting to me. However, it would be also much more user friendly if you would be able to add the tool to bioconda. Software in bioconda is so much easier to install and also provides automatically containers for reproducible and interoperable usage. I would be delighted if you would consider adding the tool to bioconda.

Hi Daniel,
many thanks for your feedback. You are absolutely right; I will add raspir to bioconda as soon as possible and update the installation guidelines accordingly.
Best,
Marie

Hi there. I was wondering whats your take on when raspir could be in bioconda. I ask because I think it would be a great addition to at least one pipeline in nf-core. Those pipelines work with conda & containers and that is fulfilled by tools in bioconda. And I am eager to start working with raspir in that context.

Hi Daniel, I have a few project deadlines coming up. I will do the bioconda transition as soon as possible but can currently give no time estimate. Until then, I leave your request open. Please feel free to work/modify the open access code and obtain the conda env requirements from the README file. Thanks!
