Hi @HSTjelta , regarding only documenting properties that have been changed: there is an existing app (with a codebase that I could potentially use to find out the default settings and if the current settings are changed) from Microsoft (see https://github.com/microsoft/powerapps-tools/tree/master/Tools/Apps/Microsoft.PowerApps.Tools.AppChangeFinder) Regarding selection what should be part of the documentation: sounds like a good idea. Might be feasible relatively quickly, will give it a thought and plan it in my schedule (currently looking at the 2023 "release plan" - basically, what do I want to achieve in which order in 2023) |

Bad news: not able to use the existing project. Good news: I was able to reproduce part of the existing project, and combine it with what I mentioned above (basically created a simple app myself where I dropped the components in and didn't change them, and then exported it). With some extra transformations, I was able to get a Proof of Concept up and running, and reduced the number of properties that are getting documented. Instead of all of properties from the Design category getting documented (see right), I only documented those that are different from the default values (left). Need to do some cleanup and testing, but version 1.1 with this feature should be out before Christmas! |

Hi Rene,
I love this project to help us create technical documentation for Power Platform solutions! This will make our lives a lot easier moving forward!
I was wondering when the feature to only extract the properties that have been changed from default will be available?
Also, would it be possible to have like a template/form to fill out with what properties you want extracted? For example, for canvas apps to only extract variables, collections and certain properties from controls that are within the canvas apps.
Thank you for this amazing project!
