#Visual PDF Diff

Merges two PDF files into one PDF file and highlights their visual differences.

##Usage Give two PDF files as arguments and wait (it may take a few minutes depending on size of files).

./visualpdfdiff.sh left.pdf right.pdf

It creates visual-pdf-diff-result.pdf file in the current folder. Intermediary files are saved in /tmp/visual-pdf-diff/ folder.

##Dependencies Following applications are required:

  1. bash, gawk, and cut for scripting,
  2. convert for converting PDF files to images and reassembling them again,
  3. composite for overlaying images of pages.

You can find them in the imagemagick package (the actual package name is distribution-dependent).
