Auto feature to detect if the word typed is in the vicinity of the cursor

Current Behaviour
If we start a test and mistype a word, the mistyped characters override the current word in a different color.
However, many times a user mistakenly types the word after the cursor or before.
For example -
"The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog" - the cursor can be on fox, but due to time pressure the user types jumps instead.
As of the current implementation, this is considered as an error.

However, there are alternate typing websites which support this word hopping but automatically detecting that the user has typed a word in the vicinity of the cursor and not exactly on the cursor - giving the user the ability to seamlessly continue the test without an error. This is the proposed behaviour which can be given to the user through a settings knob.
