Greetings. I'm a hobby C++ programmer hoping that the ideas revolving this library help build better software. |

Hi everyone,
I am a seasoned (22 years) Fortran, Perl, & Python programmer for both aerospace (GE and Gulfstream) and now nuclear fusion research (Georgia Tech Fusion Research Center). I have so many personal anecdotes about trials and tribulations when it comes to units. I am excited about the ambitions of mp-units to both provide a solution for the digital representation of units and to leverage the latest C++ features to make the solution more intuitive . I hope to contribute meaningfully to this effort because units are a personal passion. I also want to really strengthen my C++ chops, by contributing to this effort. We will see how it goes, because this is a side effort as I try to get my PhD.

Hi Unfortunately I am not in an industry where this type of library is needed anymore but still very interested in this library and would really like to see it become part of the standard. Even though I am not using units I am still observing and following this library very closely. Regards, |

Hello there ! I am intially a geneticst working with computational genetic evolution, now transitioning fully to industry. I continue developping my research softwares on my free time and also want to bring more safety into unit-related areas of industry and research (we burned to many things with fahrenheit already). I have been interacting for quite some time with mp-units, but not always being able to invest as heavily as I wished. So I'm slowly picking up a few things, witnessing the growth and evolution of the lib, and the new website documentation has been super useful to answer most on my questions 😄 |
