Feature request : Push Notification

Hey gents,

Great work there. I needed a solution to secure my RDP and other than changing the default port to a more non traditional way, this application clearly helps out a bunch. One question though, any chance of adding Push Notification?

Just a suggestion. I think a getting started portion of the github would be great. It took me a long time to figure out how to set this up and I am an IT engineer.

What do you mean exactly about Push notification ? Any client-side idea to receive the notification ?
We will have a look to a getting started section. If you have some ideas based on your issues, it would be great (we are too much involved in the project to see all the difficulties).

I just realized I never replied back to your previous question. My apologies. I thought I did. Okay. Sounds great. I currently use the Authenticator app. I will also ask them if they willing to add that feature.

Push notification client has been postponed to end of 2021. Furthermore, it will need the setup of a kind of "proxy server", as the multiOTP authentication server should never be available directly from the Internet.

No public availability yet for push notification, still in internal testing for reliability and security.

Push notification will need:

• multiOTP token installed on a smartphone (Android / iOS)
• multiOTP push server available through Internet

multiOTP token is written in React Native
multiOTP push server is written in PHP

The new planning for the GA of the push notification for open source edition is for the first semestre 2024.
When deployed, the open source push notification need to be available on an external FQDN.
