awesome project! so freaking fast! i just pinged people at jekyll about it, let's see what they say. 😄

now, would it be possible for you to implement a click counter? 🤧

you know, like we can see done at 👉 discourse.org and, perhaps even, with a stats interface like bit.ly folks 🍦 do it?

of course, perhaps this don't need to be implemented and could already be done in a better way... i dunno. 🤔

together with keeping the project active, this could become huge! 🤗 i think. 😝

cheers! 🧀

Hi @cauerego

Sorry by the delay to respond to you message.

The main method to create the shortened unique url is:

# Returns shortened unique url key on success, nil on failure

I think that you can easily integrate this method in order to redirect old pages in Jekyll.

cheers!

hey @mutalis, how are ya?

sorry i won't be able to test what you mean any time soon.

and i can't see how redirecting old pages in Jekyll can lead to a click counter.

are you sure this is related?

Hi @cauerego

You're right the methods in shortened_url.rb file are not related to Jekyll feature that you're looking for.

Best.
