I am playing ocarina of time and it does not save when I try to let it, is there a way to forcefully save it?

That is strange, do you see the message "Saving SRAM..." that is when it saves it to the browser. The feature relies on IndexedDB so you could check if that browser feature is enabled. You can also try the save-states feature and see if that works.

It does say saving sram when I save in game and it still doesn't work. One time I got a menu for the emulator open that said something about saving, it went over the game screen. Can I open that any other way

can you try the Save State and Load State buttons. Do those work? Those also save in the browser so you can close and come back later, however that feature also relies on Indexed DB working properly in the browser you are using.

ok great, one thing to note is when you play again always make sure to use the same rom file name. that's how it identifies which save to use.
