With the new feature to group by site, location and/or rack, i.e. auto-draw a rectangle around objects sharing those, I was wondering if the same would be possible for virtual chassis members? Like an additional filter checkbox "Group Virtual Chassis". As with the existing groupings, the VC name could then be displayed next to the (yellow?) rectangle.
I found an old thread #33 that addressed this, but apparently it never amounted to anything (well, it's from way before the rectangles were implemented).
Use case
Surely it would be beneficial to better discern objects comprising VCs and be able to quickly move them around by clicking the rectangle.
