This is Esperanto vs Interslavic question. Maybe instead of trying to figure out what is the best possible syntax we simply need to look at how e.g. most top 10 popular languages implemented their features and do the same thing. Pick one thing from there, one from there. But keep in mind - it must be c-like, clean and FBPish as possible
