It does in fact work. Just tested it a few minutes ago. You might need to read up how a terminal works, and that you may need get ffmpeg into the same folder as dain.

This repository probably won't get a GUI. You also probably want to look at cain-ncnn-vulkan instead, since it's faster with similar quality.
Or RIFE, since you can run it from google colab

Can confirm the instructions in the readme do work other than having to copy the model files out to the root directory.
