Yes that makes sense since Build Definitions always need API Version 6.0 (other that service connections or release definition).
That restriction ist made in AzureDevOpsEndpoint.cs since i believe there were incompatibilities between models of both versions.

Although, you could try setting version 5.1 in line 156 and try if it works. If so, please let me know so i can update this in the repository

Specifically, do I need to build the code? I only have the ZIP file of this tool, which contains only the DLLs.

@jsawanp1 the tool depends on specific minimum API versions. As I understand your server supports 5.0 and not 5.1.

The tool requires 5.1.

Do you have the latest updates for 2019?
