  • jvmctl needs to make tailing easy
  • Shift-F Shift-G etc in less hangs on large log files
  • Leading whitespace indentation is stripped (makes stack traces hard to distinguish)
  • Ctrl+C leads to terminal screwed upness (check less flags?)
  • Slow (to grep, seek etc)

The leading whitespace stripping issue has been resolved in systemd v226. systemd/systemd@6f6fdcb

Unfortunately RHEL 7.1 ships v208 and the 7.2 beta ships v219 so the fix won't become available to us for a long time.
