where is the well-trained model for basecalling

I don't think so...

well, I don't remember anymore. The project results were comparable to other basecallers at the time, thus we haven't prepared necessary steps to package this as off-the-shelf basecaller.

I've skimmed through master thesis, and there I mention b50 model...I'd name the file b50 not example if that's the case. example.model is probably some small single layer RNN for quick pipeline testing.
