Not an issue of course, but I don't see any mention in the documentation. Many of the ESP8266 devices can be used that way, it seems, but I'm not familiar enough with how these things work to know if that applies to your device as well.

No unfortunately it is not possible with the V2 due to the CTS/RTS pins not being connected. I have however recently started work on a new version which should support it. I will leave this open as an enhancement request, and will update here if/when I get it working. :)
