Give more informative "All UVs are not separated" error. #130
Comments
It would be great to have an example (Blend file) to reproduce the issue. |
Just open blender, add a cylinder, delete half of it in side view, unwrap, click straightent & transmission, doesn't work. This addon is outdated, just don't use Blender for uvs, it's such a pain, others tools like Rizom or even Substance Painter does a better job with automatic uvs |
Thanks for clarification but it would be better to have a blend file with steps to reproduce. And please, be kind. Rude actions are not allowed. Please, respect the developer (Nutty) who spends his free time for this non-commercial tool. |
And wasted my free time also |

I've found this addon which possibly does the thing. There is documentation with gifs. It might be a good reference. |
@mifth Nice find |
Sometimes when you click "Straighten" or other actions in "Align UV" section, the plugin gives an error "All UVs are not separated". It would be nice to see more clear explanation what does it mean and how user could fix it.
Does it mean that uv islands are ovelapping? If so, it could say that user can find overlapping parts by clicking "Select" -> "Overlapped"
