Thank you for Color Oracle! Used it on Linux and Mac before, now using Windows 10.

I noticed that if the text scaling setting is changed from the default, choosing a preview option results in the preview only showing the top-left quarter of the screen. I had set it higher.

There's a workaround

  • Search > Settings > Display > Scale and Layout
  • "Change the size of text, apps and other items" - set this back to "125% (recommended)"

this seems to resolve things

Windows build: 10.0.18363
Java 1.8.0.261

I second this issue report. The problem only gets worse as our displays go to higher resolution. My laptop recommends 200% scaling, so the viewed and captured images are unusably different.

Color Oracle Version: 1.3
OS version: Windows 11 Pro 22H2
OS build: 22621.1848
Java: 1.8.0_371
