oUF 12.0 Upgrade Guide

Aside from other API changes from Blizzard and various cleaning internally, here are the changes coming in version 12 of oUF for The War Within (11.0.0 and 11.0.2).

Breaking changes

• HealthPrediction element:
  • the sub-widgets are now automatically sized
    • this can be overridden with HealthPrediction.UpdateSize
• PowerPrediction element:
  • the sub-widgets are now automatically sized
    • this can be overridden with PowerPrediction.UpdateSize

Non-breaking changes

• Health element:
  • new sub-widget TempLoss
    • this is a new feature that will be present in The War Within raids, where the player temporarily gets a reduced amount of max health
    • this sub-widget must be the anchor for the Health element itself, please see the documentation for examples
      
• HealthPrediction element:
  • added showRawAbsorb option
• Range element:
  • now using events to update range instead of polling
• Core:
  • eventless frames are no longer updated unless visible
