Upgrade from 1.0 to 1.1

Hello,
I'm using version 1.0.1 and would like to upgrade to the latest version (I see it's currently 1.1.4)
Unfortunately, I see that there are some incompatible changes (for example, the "src" directory is not present anymore after upgrading), which is unexpected, being a minor version (and trying to use semver)
I can't find any changelog on the releases page or elsewhere.

Am I doing something wrong?
